About Us
Our Story
In Wadawurrung Language, Wurdi Baierr (pronounced word-ee by-eer) means ‘big gathering place’. This reflects our commitment to ensuring our centre is welcoming to everyone and is a community space for the people of the Surf Coast Shire.
Wurdi Baierr Stadium consists of 4 indoor multipurpose courts, meeting spaces and a kiosk. In early 2027, the facility is expanding to become Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Our new facilities will include multiple pools, a splash park, a health club and group exercise spaces. Our range of programs will increase to include swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, Allied Health services and a variety of group exercise classes.

Our indoor multipurpose courts are perfect for any sporting or community event. Get in contact with our team today to hire a full or half court.
Sports
Get moving in our multipurpose indoor courts with basketball and netball hoops, futsal nets as well as volleyball, pickleball and table tennis upon request or social events.

After building up an appetite on our courts, be sure to visit our kiosk for a healthy snack, drink or icecream.
